Three important things to have for a kitten

These are some important things to give your kitten!

1: Toys! Toys! Toys!

Kittens have extensive amounts of energy. It is a MUST to have a wide range of toys for them to play with, toy mice, paper crinkle things, catnip toys, feather toys, interactive toys and string! Make sure to not let your kitten ingest string, feathers or fur from any of the toys because it can get clogged in their body.

Note: Don't get super anxious about the toys. If your kitten ingests a little of anything I listed, don't panic, but watch your kitten for the next day. If nothing happens then your kitten will eventually... get rid of the material. If they stop eating or drinking, or are acting weirdly and don't go to the bathroom, then emidialty contact a vet.

2: Treats

Having treats is useful to train them. Training your kitten with treats is very useful. It can be used to help them use the litter box, or if they escape, I will try to make a post on what to do if your cat escapes, based on knowledge I learned when chip and dip escaped.

3: A cat bed, basket or perch

Having a safe place for your kitten when they get scared or nervous is a MUST. when you bring your new kitten home, they will be scared out of there minds. Chip and Dip hid in the closet for a day. Be patient. Your cat might feel safer if they have a high place to snuggle up in or a dark shadowy place to hide.
